Water Filtration Systems in Hollywood, FL

Hollywood treats its own water from the Biscayne Aquifer and disinfects it before it heads out to homes. Safe to drink. The disinfectant still comes through as a taste in coffee and a smell in a hot shower, and that is what most people want gone.

Carbon filter tanks sized to the house handle it, and they sit at the center of most water filtration systems in Hollywood that we design.

The Hollywood Lakes section goes back to Joseph Young's 1920s plan, and plenty of homes there still carry decades of plumbing repairs. A whole house water filtration system in one of those houses has to fit around old lines, small utility spaces, and lots that sit close to the water.

We find where the main enters, add a sediment stage if the lines are shedding rust, and set the bypass where it can be reached without moving a water heater.

Emerald Hills and Hollywood Hills have bigger houses, more bathrooms, and pools. A water filtration system for a house like that has to keep pressure steady when three showers run at once. Undersize it and the pressure drops while the media wears out early.

We size the tank to peak use. For the full set of stages we combine, see our filtration systems overview.

Beach condos rarely have room for a whole-unit tank, and associations have their own rules. Most owners there go with an under-sink reverse osmosis drinking unit that feeds its own faucet and needs no outdoor space.

We check what the building allows before quoting.

For the water you drink and cook with, we install Hydrotech RO equipment, which we sell and service ourselves. Ice comes out clear. The coffee tastes like coffee. In many kitchens the same unit can feed the fridge.

White spots on the shower glass and crust on the aerators come from hardness, which carbon does not touch. If the test shows enough of it to matter, we add one of our softener units after the filter and set regeneration to how your family uses water.

We sell to businesses as well as homeowners. Around Young Circle and downtown Hollywood Boulevard that means restaurants that need clean water for ice and espresso, shops, and small offices. Each setup gets looked at before we recommend anything.

When the city works on a main or flushes hydrants, older service lines can kick loose grit and rust. It shows up as cloudy water and specks in the aerators. A sediment stage ahead of the carbon catches it, protects the media, and means fewer filter changes.

From 7526 NW 8th Street, we head up I-95 and take Hollywood Boulevard or Sheridan Street. If the job is out west, the Guitar Hotel on 441 tells you you are close. All service calls are done within 24 to 48 hours.

We only install what we sell, because we know every product we sell, and everything we sell we guarantee. Comparing water filter installation near me options? Ask who will still be around to service it. Our story starts in 1984.
